Here you will also find the Mesoamerican Coral Reef, the second largest in the world; this being said, this is a great spot for you to go diving or snorkeling. Roatán / Roatán, Honduras

Despite the recent increase in tourism, the island and its only village, San Miguel, maintain its local charm. The Cozumel Reefs National Park hosts multiple diving areas around the Mesoamerican reef. Close to it, you will also find the submerged sculptures of the Underwater Museum of Art. Chankanaab is an ecological park surrounding a lagoon full of underwater caverns and, it also houses dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles.
