A city filled with as many touristic attractions as it is of history. Some of the main spots you should visit on your stop here are the beaches in Salvador Bahía, Da Barra’s Lighthouse, and Peleourinho’s Historic Center with its streets surrounded by colorful houses.

Maceió is an ideal destination for those looking forward to enjoying a family or a couple trip. Located in the state of Alagoas, it is mainly known for its stunning natural beauty, composed of many beaches and lagoons.
What you should know about Maceio
Maceió offers extensive beaches with different surges, ideal for surfing, snorkeling, and diving; the most outstanding ones are: Barra de Santo Antonio, Carro Quebrado, and Tabuba. Its architecture offers attractive Portuguese colonial-style buildings, as well as churches following the tendencies of sacred art. Hundreds of cultural events and various museums are available for you to enjoy and visit in the Jaraguá neighborhood. Gastronomy also plays an important role in Massagueira.
