The Holland-America Line's MS Oosterdam cruise ship was only the second ship launched in the Vista class category. It’s the sister ship to the Noordam, Westerdam, and Zuiderman. The name is derived from the Dutch translation for the eastern compass point, and it’s pronounced:
"Oh-ster-dam". With more space per person than any other in the Holland-America Line fleet, this spectacular vessel sports 12 decks and access to each is offered by the stunning exterior glass elevators. 85% of cabins have sea views and the a full 67% provide balconies. A unique atmosphere is granted to any holiday on board this colossus of the high seas.
