Barcelona Barcelona is Spain's most cosmopolitan city and one of the Mediterranean's busiest ports. Restaurants, bars and clubs are always packed, as is the seaside in summer. You might get the impression it's dedicated exclusively to hedonism, but it's a hard-working, dynamic place hoping to place itself in the vanguard of 21st-century Europe.

Barcelona regards its long past with pride. From Roman town it passed to medieval trade juggernaut, and its old centre constitutes one of the greatest concentrations of Gothic architecture in Europe. Beyond this core are some of the world's more bizarre buildings: surreal spectacles capped by Antonio Gaudi's Sagrada Familia church. This city has been breaking ground in art, architecture and style since the late 19th century.

From the marvels of Modernism to the modern wonders of today, from Picasso to the likes of Susana Solano, the racing heart of Barcelona has barely skipped a beat. As capital of Catalonia, a region with its own language, character and history – many Catalans think of their home as a separate country. Things to do? Go to La Rambla Street, very famous for its particular statue being. Make a stop to La Boqueria market where you can buy food or eat to one of the bar restaurants.

The Barrio Gótico is the older neighborhood and it is full of small streets to discover. In this district, you can visit the Santa Cruz y Santa Eulalia cathedral built from 13th century until 15th century. Antonio Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia is an impressive temple that was first built in 1882. It is still in construction and the ending should be in 2026! Passeig de Gracia, is a street with many shops where you can find famous expensive brand like Channel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton but also famous cheaper brand like Zara, Mango, Morgan... On this street, you can visit two famous buildings from Antoni Gaudi - Casa Batllo and Casa Milà (also known like La Pedrera). And there are many other places where it is worth to visit like Park Güell, Montjuïc, Arco de Triunfo, Picasso Museum, and the Tibidabo Amusement Park.

During night time, depending what you want to do, you can go to Gracia. This neighborhood is a very popular place where you can find many restaurants and local bars to dinner or to have a drink. In the same atmosphere, you have the born district with many more clubs where majority of the entrances are free. Both are very crowded in particular from Friday night to Sunday night.

Go up to Tibidabo Street where you can take a romantic drink with your partner. From here, you can have an overview to the city and along this same street; you can find a lot of clubs.
