Craving for a Texan-style breakfast? Enjoy it in the historic Strand district. Delve into Galveston's illustrious history on its picturesque walk filled with perfectly preserved Victorian mansions. Taking a cruise departing from Galveston will also allow you to explore the city a little more. Visit one of the many local museums and admire exhibits about the oil industry, a restored 1877 ship, and historical artifacts from Texas. Once called Wall Street of the South, the charming Strand District, along with the neighboring East End Historic District, houses museum-turned mansions, the Grand 1894 Opera House, plus plenty of upscale shopping and cozy cafes.

Come prepared to live a huge adventure along the Gulf Coast with cruises sailing through Mexico and the Western Caribbean! Enjoy the thrills of the huge amusement park at Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier. Cruises provide the opportunity to enjoy everything that the pier has to offer. Have fun at the attractions before playing all the typical fairground games or hopping on the roller! Stroll down the streets and observe the well-preserved Victorian-era buildings in the former Strand district during your cruise to Galveston. Old Strand Emporium brings out the charm of old ice cream shops, while La King´s Confectionery is where local candy makers prepare seawater toffee on site. Do not miss the daiquiri stalls for a frozen cocktail on the way! Strand´s historic district is the city´s main shopping spot. Here, 19th century storefronts now house a quirky collection of local gift shops and antiquities. Choose between beachwear, whimsical gifts, boat models, used books, south-west turquoise jewelry, and Texas-inspired home décor! Galveston´s trolleybuses depart approximately every 30 minutes, so a tour downtown is a MUST.

Day 3.Cozumel / Cozumel, Mexico

Located at the end of the Yucatan Peninsula, Cozumel continues to be known for its fantastic fishing spots and the possibility to practice snorkeling and diving. Despite the recent increase in tourism, the island and its only village, San Miguel, maintain its local charm. The Cozumel Reefs National Park hosts multiple diving areas around the Mesoamerican reef. Close to it, you will also find the submerged sculptures of the Underwater Museum of Art. Chankanaab is an ecological park surrounding a lagoon full of underwater caverns and, it also houses dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles.
You should know about Cozumel
Famous for its beaches and history; Cozumel is a destination where you will find Maya Ruins and various tours for you to go diving, navigating, SUV driving, and much more. This seaside city has taxis, buses, and bicycles; so, there are plenty of ways for you to discover it! Are you a foodie? Do not miss the chance to try one of the most delicious dishes of the region! Cochinita Pibil is an orange juice and achiote marinated pork dish served with sliced red onion and habanero. If you are looking forward to an underwater experience, head for Cozumel’s National Coral Reef Park or to the Subaquatic Art Museum, where you will find submerged sculptures at the bottom of the sea. Another great must-visit spot is Chankanaab, an ecological park surrounded by a lagoon with underground caverns and an area with dolphins, sea turtles and manatees.

Day 5.Nassau / Nassau, Bahamas
