Its capital, the bustling Oranjestad, is distinguished for its Dutch-style colonial buildings painted with warm colors, and usually adorned with bougainvillea, oleanders, and hibiscus. What you should know about Kralendijk
Looking for an eco-friendly tour? Hop on a tuc tuc, go snorkeling on Palm Beach Reef or ride a catamaran along the beaches. Kralendijk is famous for its diving spots due to the island being surrounded by a marine park. Go sightseeing in Bonaire and enjoy a pink and colorful view of flamingos! FUN FACT: Here you will also find the sole casino in the Caribbean which you can enter barefoot. For a long time now, Bonaire has been specially recognized for its salt production and, for more than three centuries, the island´s culture and prosperity depended on the most important spices in the world.
